Keeping on Track!
Parents are informed every six weeks of their child’s progress.
The curriculum is divided up into six weekly modules, which begin and end on the same date for all subjects, and at the end of each module an assessment is carried out to demonstrate what students have learned. These assessments cover a range of testing including formal tests, extended pieces of work, and ICT presentations.
The results of these assessments, along with information about each student’s progress are then sent home.
Information about what your child is learning in each subject can be found in the main curriculum area of the website, which clearly sets out what your child will be studying in each half term. In this way parents can become more involved in their child’s learning and may be able to provide help and support when needed.
