Catering / Hospitality Update
As a result of unplanned maintenance we are unable to continue practical Catering and Design Technology cooking lessons between now and the Easter break. Students do not need to bring ingredients at this time. Theory lessons will take place up until Easter, after which practical lessons will resume. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Welcome to Oak Academy, a school perfectly placed within the community to deliver high quality teaching and learning. We are a rapidly improving school and I am very proud to work alongside both established and newly appointed colleagues, driven by the shared belief that every student has the right to learn, grow and achieve.
It is this ethos that motivates all members of our community in improving the academic outcomes and life-chances of students. We value collaboration and open communication at all levels and see the relationship between parents, staff and students as crucial to the success of the school.
Promoting a ‘no excuses’ culture of learning, Oak Academy students play a significant role in creating the warm and friendly atmosphere that makes this school so special.
My aim as Principal is to provide a happy, safe and diverse environment; one that challenges all of us to develop as learners so that we feel confident in meeting whatever life holds for the future.
I very much look forward to welcoming you and your child to our school.
